I’ve been saying this a lot lately and even on my weekly vlog (new experiment I’m trying out). Basically, I’m over the nonsense far as people acting some kind of way towards certain people.
Maya Angelou said it best “when people show you who they are, believe them”. You see a certain person who throws away friends and associates like old toys or underwear once they’re no longer useful to them. This is very disturbing and then they wonder why people don’t want to deal with them. Well a person’s reputation does precede them.
We all want reliability and stability in our lives: jobs, relationships, the cars we drive, even the technology we have. I’m currently having a problem with an electronics company due to inconsistent products. Basically you want something that’s gonna last you a while, not just a short time.
Granted, everyone isn’t meant to be in your life for a lifetime. We have to be better than that: be the person that we would want to have around all the time.
So let’s do better and put words to action. If someone wrongs you, tactfully call them on it. If they are always good to you, make sure they’re appreciated. Good words and actions go a long way.
And as always, let’s just love each other, please.
