Father, husband, grandfather, uncle and Air Force veteran Arthur Newson is in for the fight of his life. Cancer and other affiliations are eating up his body and he’s fighting for his life.

He’s quite a man and I’m not just saying this because he’s my best friend’s father and a father figure to me.

Mr. Newson always gives great advice and words, is a kind man that will do anything for you. Recently during my two tough bouts, he provided me with the foot scooter during my injury. He was one of the first I called when I had to call in the family for my mom. He had great words per always. One was continuing to celebrate my mom’s legacy. I will do the same for him.

He’s been married for over 40 years to Kathy Newson, is a retired Air Force veteran, has two sons Rashad (Rayn) and Duane (Cyntrel) and three grandsons: Kamal, 21, Sir, 11.

He loves traveling, talking, grilling, and just being positive to anyone around. I’m so glad I know this man and I feel I can go to him with anything.

Regardless of how this spins, he made his mark and I want him to continue to be remembered.

I’m patiently waiting on Fall. Changing leaves, cooler weather, football, apple cider, Halloween, I want it all! Yes I have Fall on the brain. There is so much to gain. I love football Friday nights. Lots of fun under the lights. There’s college Homecoming, Thanksgiving, football all weekend. Tailgates and hoodies are the bookend. That’s the time to vacation. Cuffing season begins and cuddling. Better get who you want, no befuddling. In between we have the fair and October the best month in sports. It’s possible it may be the best month of sorts. I’m ready for cocoa and my Halloween costume. Leaves falling, time for the moutsin air I will consume. School activities and festivals galore! There is so much more! I wish it were Fall year round. Outside of darkness and the flu, it’s the best season around

He’s a good man Charlie Brown! I can be all cool and down. You did find your king. Now you’re awaiting your crown and ring. If only I had known early. I wouldn’t have been so bitter and burly. Happiness is the main thing. I want to cheer and sing. I have felt so much better since. My feelings aren’t on the fence. It’s hard but you’re with the one. I hope that he is done. When you know you know. I see little and even I know. It will come my way for sure. I’ll be happy for you and he
